Time Flies!!

Can you believe my little man is 1!? It is so crazy to me I can't even believe it! I have gotten so many pictures, and videos of him this last year and I still feel like I missed out on a ton!! We had a little Go Diego party for him at my in-laws and of course he got spoiled! He loved his cake, and opening all of his presents! I don't have any pictures if his party because our computer is broke :(

I can't believe how lucky I got having such a great baby! We have soo much fun together at home! I love being able to stay home with my little man :)

I swear he his the smartest baby around (of course) :) but no, seriously, he picks up on things so fast! It is so fun watching him learn new things on a daily basis! I love this age because he is more independent, no more baby food, or formula! Yay! I love watching him play by himself, or point to things he wants.

Here are a couple things about Aiden at 1 years old:

He walks like crazy, even runs a little lol

He loves his toys, and everyone else's

He puts himself to sleep (finally) and sleeps through the night

He loves helping mommy put toys away

Whenever I vacuum he runs around and giggles

Raviolis, spaghetti o's, and rice are some of his favorite foods

He can say MaMa, DaDa, and Dod (dog) lol

He loves his bottle (ugh) oh well, he is only 1 right?

Lion king is his favorite movie, I have it memorized, really

I love my little man so much, and again, I'm the luckiest mom in the world :)

Anniversary

So tonight we got back from our anniversary, and I can't believe how much fun we had.
We got into Salt Lake around 5:00 on Friday and dropped off Aiden at my Dad's. Then me and Eric drove down to the Gateway for some shopping and dinner. We went to dinner at Happy Sumo and it SERIOUSLY was the best food i have ever ate. The environment was so fun, and we sat up at the bar so we were able to see how he made the sushi. It was so fresh and made so good, we enjoyed every bite :) All you sushi lovers out there, i definitely recommend it!! Thanks Kayla for recommending it to me! :)
Then we went to a hotel and sat in the hot tub and swam in the pool and slept like babies :) It was definitely much needed! It was the first time i have left Aiden overnight, and i was freaking out when we left, but once we got downtown and heard he didn't even notice we were gone i calmed down lol. Then yesterday we went to lagoon with a my dad, stepmom, and brothers and my aunt and uncle and there families. Let me just tell you, I am a kid in a candy store there. I love everything about it. The atmosphere, the food, and of course the rides!! My favorite has to be the Rocket :) We spent an hour in line last night because it was so busy! For a ride that lasts 2 min, but it is definitely worth it! We had so much fun together this weekend, and it was so nice having alone time for longer than just dinner and a movie. I can't believe i have been married for 3 years already! It has been the best 3 years and i couldn't be happier.

So......i did NOT reach my goal weight :( i know i know, i PROMISED i would. but.....i didn't
I am 127, so i lost a pound, but i didn't get to what i want.
I FINALLY feel good about myself tho, and i feel like that is the most important thing.
Don't get me wrong, im still going to lose these last 10 lbs, but i'm glad that i am finally happy with how i look!!

All in all i had the best weekend and i wish i could rewind and do it all over again!

8 week challenge

So me and Eric are going out to Salt Lake to celebrate our anniversary. We are going to go to sushi (YUM) Friday night and then Lagoon the next Saturday, I LOVE LAGOON. I would go there every weekend if we could, and it's sort of mine and Eric's "place". We went there a lot while we were dating and it just brings back great memories :)

So anyways, i want to look GOOD!! lol

I have been exercising since December and have lost 22 pounds. 22 pounds in 8 months, i know that's not that much, but it's been staying off so i am ok with it. So starting Monday i am going to work my butt off to lose these last 8 pounds. I am hoping that writing it down and having people read it puts a little pressure on me!!

Eric is going to do it with me too!! Wish us luck :)

As of Late

So the last couple of weeks our computer has been broken, it wouldn't turn on at all. I was going CRAZY!! Luckily i had my ipod but blogging from that is just too hard. I still can't post any pictures but i will update on my little man :)

He is into EVERYTHING!!

He can crawl faster than i can walk it seems like

He loves to play with his toys

He loves to play in water

Otis (our boxer) makes him giggle so hard when he sees him

He loves to be thrown up in the air by his daddy

He hasn't been sleeping very good :( He falls asleep on my lap, our bed, the couch, the floor, my arms, anywhere but his crib. He absolutely hates it, and i'm actually ok with it. I would rather him get a good night sleep and be comfortable that waking up every 2 hours. He is only a baby once right? :)

He is 10 months old on the 28th (SERIOUSLY)???

He is getting 4 teeth in at the same time!! UGH that makes 7 now!!

He loves to play in the dogs food and water (when i'm not fast enough to catch him lol)

He has sweaty feet! lol

He doesn't eat his food very good, but when anyone else has food he'll gobble it right up :)

He has been so much fun lately!! His personality just gets better and better everyday! He is the happiest baby ever. We just love him so much!!

Eric is still working at Halliburton. A couple of weeks ago he flew up to North Dakota and worked there for a week.

I.HATED.IT

I know that sounds so awful but it is so hard being away from him for that long, not having help for a whole week, or just me time. Little man can get to be a handful so it's nice to be able to hand him off to Eric and just to take a breather. They must have known how much i hated it because he left again today for a week :'( I am so sad and hope it goes by quick. Luckily my brothers are back from Salt Lake, so i have them to keep me company :)

We have decided to move to Logan for Eric to go to school in January. I am so excited/nervous/sad. We are doing this for US. Nobody else. It will be sad to leave our families here, but there is nothing else for us here. I know he could get his generals done here, but he would have to find another job, and everybody that lives here knows how hard it is to find jobs. We know it is going to be hard to find jobs up there but we are willing to take the risk.

Eric is going to go to school to be an Eye Surgeon. RIGHT?! I am so proud of him. It is almost 9 years of school just to even get started out. He has always been super interested with that sort of stuff and one day he said, i want to go to school, lets move to Logan. I said OK!! :) We are so excited and can't wait for this journey to start in our lives. VERNAL see ya later!! :)

Well that is our lives as of late and we are having the time of our lives! :)

We haven't taken any family pictures since our last try when Aiden was just little, so Sunday it was cloudy and a perfect day so we decided to have my mom take some. We had so much fun taking them, and Aiden did so good!! He is such a little ham and i don't know what we would do without him. My mom did SUCH a good job, and i am so glad that she loves to take pictures for us. We took alot, so here are just a couple!!

Ragnar, Weight loss, and FOOD....:)

So i know i have already blogged today, but as i sit here with Eric gone, and Aiden asleep I'm.bored.

WEIGHT LOSS

Can i just say, how frustrating it is to lose weight?! It is a constant struggle with me day to day. One week i do SO good, and then comes the weekend and i blow it. I still can't get the hang of it and i might never. It is the one thing that makes me sad, mad, happy, and annoyed all in one day. I have been exercising since January and i have done O.K.

Jan. 1st- 150 lbs.
May. 8th- 136 lbs.

I have lost a good amount of weight i guess considering i just had a baby and blah blah blah. BUT, i don't see it and that's what is frustrating.

GOAL weight- 120

So, i still have 16 pounds to run off and i WILL do it. END.OF.STORY


FOOD

I love food. Period. How can you not? It's what keeps us alive right? Well....in moderation lol

RAGNAR

So on my birthday (June 18th) i am running the Wasatch Back/Ragnar race with my dad, uncle and aunt, and 8 other runners. I am so excited i can't wait. I have never ran in a race before and this is one of the hardest ones, so you can understand my excitement. The race consists of 12 members and you start in Logan, UT and end in Heber, UT. Each person runs 3 legs. My legs consist of:

First leg- 3.2 miles
Second leg- 9.6 miles
Last leg- 3.5 miles uphill

I am trying to run 5 miles a day, but in order not to pass out on my second leg, and third, i need to get comfortable running 7 miles straight. Let's just say, i need to start training NOW. I have less that a month and a half.

Wish me luck, i might need it!! Any advice from all you runners all there would be nice!!

Happy Mothers Day

I just want to say how much i love my mom! She is most amazing mom and person i know. I am so proud that she is my mom and how much i have learned from her. She means the world to me and my brothers and we love her very much :) We love you madre!!! :)




I can't put into words how much i love being a mom! Especially to this little guy :) He is my everything and i can't imagine life without him. He teaches me new things everyday, and he makes me a better person. He is such a sweet spirit in our home and i love watching him grow so big and learn new things. I love my little family so much, and i am so blessed to have them in my life :) I love you guys

Finally :)

We finally got internet!! Wahoo :) So that means that hopefully i will blog alot more often! I may not be as interesting as some of the other blogs, but i will definitely try :) Our lives have been pretty simple, Eric works and i stay home, pretty easy right? It's actually a little hard. I am up at my dad's probably 4 out of the 7 nights a week that eric works. He works for 2-12 for 2 weeks, and then off 1 week, and then 7-5 for 2 weeks and so on. The nights are definitely harder than days. It is so nice having help to put Aiden to bed, or even giving him a bath sometimes, but considering i get to stay home with my bubbas all day long, it's not that hard. We are also lucky that Eric has a good enough job that allows me too. He is starting school in the fall to get his generals, and then he wants to go into the medical field. It is going to be a long 8-9 years ahead of us, but i am so proud of him!! I am thinking about going back to work maybe 3 or 4 days a week just for a little extra money, and we are also thinking/hoping about going on a 7 day cruise in October, and i want to go SO BAD!!! I'm not sure exactly which one, but it's supposed to be one of the best ones :) It will definitely going to be hard to leave aiden that long, but will also be nice to have Eric all to myself for 7 days :) Speaking of Aiden, enough about us! Let's talk about our cute little man :)
I cannot believe how big he has gotten, it is definitely true when they say it goes by fast! I wouldn't take it back for a second tho, i have loved watching all the stages he has gone through and all the accomplishments he has made. There are so many things i never thought would make me so happy. When he first smiled, or his first tooth. Watching him pull a toy towards him or rolling over. Even him going poop after he hadn't for a while!! It is crazy how much joy he has brought into our lives. He is so fun at this stage and has the cutest personality. He has two teeth on the bottom, and can roll over both ways. He can't sit up by himself yet, but he is crawling already! Well he isn't off of his belly yet, but man can he move! I give it 2 more weeks and i am going to be child proofing my house! :)
He loves his daddy more than anything, and they can just sit there more hours laughing each other. He is a spitting image of him and that's the first thing people say is "he looks just like his daddy" Eric is such a good dad and they are going to be the best of friends :) I am so excited that i get to talk about him more and more, and i will try not to talk about him every time i blog, but i can't guarantee it :)

Aiden

So we don't internet at my house so I'm not able to update as much as I want. I cant believe how fast my little guy is growing up! He is 4 months and 3 weeks old already! He already has 2 teeth and is such a talker. He rolls over only when he wants to but i love watching him when he does it. He loves his mommy and loves to laugh at me. For some reason I'm the funniest person there is lol :) i love that the weather is finally getting warm so I can take him outside because he loves it! As soon as we get Internet I will try and post everyday. We love him so much and couldn't imagine life without him. He is such a joy in our lives and makes even a bad day good. I can't wait to get Internet so I can share him with everyone else! :)
